40mm Hansen Nyglass Check Valve (One-way valve)
The Hansen nyglass check valve is manufactured in New Zealand and we have been supplying them to our clients for many years. These valves are excellent for one-way control in nearly all pumping systems, gravity feed systems or just anywhere that protection against backflow is required.
Unlike sealed check valves, servicing or cleaning the Hansen valve is extremely simple as the valve does not need to be removed from the pipeline. With the pipeline de-pressurized, the cover unscrews and you have immediate access to the diaphram and 302 stainless steel spring. Clean out the offending rubbish, check the diaphragm and spring, reinstall the diaphragm and spring and, screw the cap back on and you are back in operation.
