Which pump should I buy?   Selecting the correct pump to connect to your ABOVE GROUND tank system is pretty easy as it depends on how much water you require and what you are going to use the water for.   The following recommendations are made based on our knowledge and over 30-years of experience.   We strongly recommend that you purchase a stainless steel pump when the water is going to be used in the washing machine, toilets, or for drinking.   The "Yes" selections in the table are all suitable for the detailed task and the "Yes" in blue is the recommended option as it is the most suitable and will provide excellent value for money.

	J-Pump BM60 0.37 kW Bronze Turbine Automatic Pump This is the smallest of our "J-Pump" units but don't let size fool you as this little pump will be just perfect for use with a single garden hose or up to 180m of Drip-Line or even as the supply for a pressure washer, toilet or washing machine.   The turbine and in fact the complete wet-end part of the pump is manufactured from bronze so it will not corrode or rust and will operate perfectly for many years.   Capable of a maximum pressure of 450 kPa and a useable flow of 10 litres per minute at a high pressure of 320 kPa or a flow of 20 litres per minute at 220 kPa, this pump comes complete with a fully automatic electronic controller that will turn the pump on when you open the valve and, turn the pump off when you close the valve.   The controller also provides protection so that when your tank does run out of water, the J-Pump controller will turn the pump off to prevent damage.   Supplied with a 2.7m lead and Australian compliant 3-pin plug it is ready for work.   To download the pdf spec sheet with performance curve - click here. 	Watermark Approved Components for Automatic Valve Switching between Town Mains and a Grundfos Automatic Pressure Pump This is everything that your plumber will require to assemble an "Automatic Town Tank Switching" unit.   The unit is installed and connected to the town mains water supply and to the Grundfos pump drawing water from your tank and the house.   When you have rainwater in your tank, the Grundfos CH2-40-BK pump (or larger) will automatically use tank water and, if the tank runs out of water, the town mains water will automatically flow instead of the pumped water.   In the event of a power failure, town mains water flows automatically.   We supply this equipment as individual "Watermark Approved" components so that your licensed plumber can assemble them and install the unit to comply with all regulations.   "Back flow prevention" is carried out by the dual check valves and these also prevent town mains entering your tank and, tank water entering the mains.   For further details and a larger image, click on the "information" button to the right. 	40mm Super "T" Filter Kit with 55 micron Disc Set This is the 40mm Super 'T' filter with 55 micron disc set suitable for use on the pressure side of any domestic pump that is pumping water from a rainwater tank.   The 55 micron disc set will capture all particles down to approximately 55 micron or 0.055 of a millimeter in size and this is the perfect filter to remove particles when the water is to be used in the washing machine, for flushing toilets or even for washing the car.   The disc set is NOT DISPOSABLE and is easily cleaned by simply unscrewing the base cover, removing the disc set and washing in a bucket of water.   The filter system that we supply has a life of in excess of 25-years so it is extremely cost effective compared to filters with disposable cartridges.   The filter comes with all of the fittings and flexible hose that you will need to connect it to any of our home pressure pumps and we even include the wall bracket for easy installation.   The filter is sent with all of the fittings pre-assembled for simple connection to your pump.   To download the PDF drawing showing all items - click here. 	IW Pump Cover with Polyslab Base (Pre-Painted) This is our curved steel and poly pump cover that we manufacture and it is suitable for all of our smaller automatic pressure system pumps.   We have included a rugged "Polyslab" base which is made in Australia and is UV stable, strong and, robust.   Over the top we have used heavy gauge zincanele steel sheet which has been roll curved and has the edges bevelled so they are not sharp.   We have secured the curved steel sheet to the "Polyslab" with 8 heavy gauge stainless steel screws for additional strength.   The steel and poly pump cover is 640mm long x 340mm wide and 530mm high so your pump will stay protected from the elements and the "Polyslab" base will protect it from moisture as well as provide a secure base mounting.   We supply this version already painted with 3 coats of hard wearing "Galmet" brand spray paint in Mist Green, Rivergum, Slate Grey, Wheat, Merino or, Smooth Cream.   Economical, rugged, functional and, already painted ready to install.   Please note that the "Polyslab" colour is always Mist Green and cannot be painted.
