Our pink teflon plumbers tape is manufactured by Fedseal and is definitely a far superior product to all of those very thin white tapes. "Teflon 002" is manufactured to a very high standard and so it is of uniform size and thickness over the complete roll. With a thickness of 0.1mm it is up to 3 times thicker than some cheaper white versions on the market. "Teflon 002" should be used on all Nyglass, stainless steel, brass, cast iron, aluminium, gunmetal, ductile iron, pvc and most other BSP style threads. "Teflon 002" on our Hansen range of Nyglass fittings generally only requires 4 or 5 turns of "Teflon 002" to provide a leakproof seal. Rolls of "Teflon 002" are 12mm wide x 0.1mm thick x 10m long and all of the tape can be used. Price:
3/4" Quick Connect Valve
The 20mm QCV is designed to be installed in the ground so that the poly cap is just below "Mower" level. The QCV is attached to a burried water supply line via the 3/4" BSP male threaded inlet. The QCV has an internal valve that is normally closed so that water does not leak out. To activate the valve, lift up the flipcap and insert the "KEY". On the top of the key you can have a sprinkler, a hose outlet or any other 25mm fitting as the key has a 25mm male BSP outlet. When the key is inserted, the internal valve is automatically opened and the water flows out through the key. Perfect for fire sprinklers and turf and lawn irrigation !

Key for Quick Connect Valves
This is the KEY for both the 3/4" and 1" QCV. It is a hollow 3/4" poly tube with a 25mm male thread on the top and an "Easy Lock" locking mechanism. To lock the key into position you simply lift up the yellow flip-cap on the QCV and push the key in. The Easy Lock will lock everything together and water flows. To un-lock you simply lift the lever on the side of the key, the water stops and you remove the key and close the flip-cap. Great where you have a large turf area, hobby farm or council parks and gardens.
