Our pink teflon plumbers tape is manufactured by Fedseal and is definitely a far superior product to all of those very thin white tapes. "Teflon 002" is manufactured to a very high standard and so it is of uniform size and thickness over the complete roll. With a thickness of 0.1mm it is up to 3 times thicker than some cheaper white versions on the market. "Teflon 002" should be used on all Nyglass, stainless steel, brass, cast iron, aluminium, gunmetal, ductile iron, pvc and most other BSP style threads. "Teflon 002" on our Hansen range of Nyglass fittings generally only requires 4 or 5 turns of "Teflon 002" to provide a leakproof seal. Rolls of "Teflon 002" are 12mm wide x 0.1mm thick x 10m long and all of the tape can be used. Price:
20mm Plastic Disc Filter 120 micron Discs and male BSP connections
Our "Budget" 20 mm disc filters are supplied with a 120 micron disk assembly which is quite suitable for drip irrigation, sprinklers and micro sprays as well as filtration to machines. Used to filter out softer particles such as weed, soft shelled snails, algae and soft organic material. Maximum working pressure is 800 kPa. This filter is ideal as a secondary filter on block valves with flows of up to a maximum of 3,000 litres per hour. The flow in a disc filter must be "dirty water to the outside of the discs".
