Controllers
Controllers are simply electronic timers that are programable to switch irrigation valves on and off at specified times. Some controllers are simple single or dual program units like the Slim Dial while the more functional controllers like the Total Control and Micro Master series, are able to perform far more complex irrigation sequences and may be connected to a computer or even linked with radio telemetry.

25mm Galcon Valve and Controller
The Galcon 25mm 2010EZ25 is the perfect battery operated valve controller for any drip or sprinkler irrigation system. With a fully functional computer program allowing you to choose the time of day/night, the duration, the days each week and much more, this is the valve controller of choice. This includes the 25mm valve ! Ideal for roof gardens, irrigation systems, flower planters, herb gardens and seasonal flowers. Requires 2 x 9v DC square batteries.

Pressure rated to 800 kPa so there are no problems with this fantastic controller on town mains pressure systems or when water is supplied by pumps. The Galcon 2010EZ25 is very easy to program and is extremely reliable. It is not cheap - but it is the best that we can find and it will last for many years.

This is the most popular controller on the market today. With dozens of features it is also a very "easy to use" controller. This model operates up to 16 field valves as well as a pump start/stop. The Micro-Master can be connected to a PC via direct wire or radio and, when supplied with the PC software package, it is my controller of choice for perfect irrigation control. 25 Valve Micro-Master 4500 Series
The 25 valve model of the Micro-Master 4500 is the perfect controller for all irrigation systems with up to 25 valves. This is a fully featured controller with pump start/stop, water budgeting, fertigation control, irrigation by time and by volumetric method. It will monitor water meter outputs as well as fertilizer injection meters. It comes in a weatherproof steel enclosure and can of course be connected to a PC for even greater flexibility. This is one of the few controllers on the market that allows you to monitor and adjust the controller from your home or office via telephone and PC link. You can be in London and adjust and monitor the controller on the vineyard in Australia.
